Job Description - Board Certified Behavior Analyst Full - Time / Part - Time or PRN (11182018)

The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is responsible for the evaluation, creation, and implementation of ABA therapy plans with accurate and reliable data collection, consultation and training with family and staff. The Board Certified Behavior Analyst will collaborate with other speech therapist and staff members to create and maintain therapy plans that address all behavioral and skill acquisition needs of the clients. You will have the opportunity to work with children of all ages, young adults and adults diagnoses, including autism spectrum disorders, down syndrome, ADHD, and other behavior disorders, mostly children with intellectual disabilities.

Maintain a comprehensive therapy plan for each client: long-range goals, short-range objectives, activities related to these objectives and an evaluation of progress toward these objectives
Collaborate and communicate with relevant effective and efficient implementation of therapy plans.
Create and implement individual treatment programs for children and adults
Continue evaluating patients to determine appropriate programming, frequency and therapy plan
Evaluate and prepare required reports as requested from parents/guardians.
Consult and plan with the client’s family concerning their progress in development.
Arrange parent/therapist meetings when appropriate to maintain communication and training with the family.
Work both one-on-one and in groups with your clients.
You will have the independence and flexibility to plan your sessions with clients
Maintain collaboration and communication with parents, teachers, allied disciplines, and physicians by completing progress and evaluation reports.
Attend meetings, team to share material, concerns, and new techniques and concepts.
Provide input and assist in the ongoing growth and development of the Center for Health Services
Willing to work in various environments.
Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
Excellent communication and writing skills
Ability to interact in a positive manner with fellow staff members, families and client
Flexibility and dependability
Organizational and consulting skills
Behavior management skills
First Aid/CPR/ CPI training preferred
Master's degree preferred
Experience with children with special needs required
High degree of interest in working with students with autism and independent thinking skills
